Lisa and all the group are very knowledgeable, helpful and considerate. Lisa has an assistant prepare the she then reviews the tax documents. The price seems very fair. Thanks all!!!

When I had contacted them, I did not get any new information about my tax filing or anything useful to me. They just charged me 77.50$ to tell me how much tax I owe which I had already informed them. Overall, you should clearly tell them before visiting that you will or will not be filing taxes with them ending up in unnecessary paying charges...

you pay a premium price for dollar tree service. We signed up to work with a CPA, but your work is done by a subordinate. We used two different CPA's each for 2 years. The first was never available was always in her other office ( Sacappose , I think) She mist an item the first year, but it was an uncommon item unique to our situation . The second year we reminded her about it before hand and it was still missed,( cost us a $75 fine with the city of Portland, person in office said they could not give the form to us CPA who was not in would have to, got form 2 hrs. latter from CPA who was still not in but did bill us for the extra work) first year we showed up with a bag of receipts broken down into envelopes ( 1 for each month) cost us $ 500 in fees, second year separated into months with summary sheets for each month receipts inside each packet stapled together by category (told this would save us money) cost $500 plus. We then switched to a new person, 3rd year was OK, 4th year get contacted by 3 different persons asking same questions, that should have been already in our file paperwork . Paper work submitted end of January, received in April, by a secretary who would only let us review them after we payed, No one in office "qualified" to review ( other person in office said they could not we had to see our CPA) nor was the opportunity offered. we would have moved on quietly but we keep getting chain emails even though we "unsubscribed" that last one encouraging us to give them a review on yelp and google so i did .

Beware! Can't say I'm impressed by any means. I contacted them before spring break to schedule an appointment to get my taxes done. Since I was out of town for a bit, we scheduled or Monday the 28th. I went in on Monday as scheduled and completed the initial sit-down/processing. After that, things went down hill. By Tuesday, April 12th (2 full working weeks), I hadn't heard anything from them so I called to check status. I was told "we're still working on it and someone will get back to you soon once complete". When no one called by end of business day, Thursday, April 14th, I called them and this is where it gets interesting. I was told "We're still not done, we're very busy and taxes aren't due until the 18th this year anyways". I explained I realized that but that doesn't mean I want to wait until the last minute to finish my taxes. I was then told "it's OK, we usually file an extension for you and we'll contact you when we're done". At this point, I'm really unhappy so I ask for a manager. When the office manager comes on, she tries to turn the tables and tell me it's MY fault since I came in last-minute! Last minute? I came in THREE working weeks before due date. If you don't have enough people to finish these on time, you should politely decline additional business. She also tries to tell me they'll "just file an extension and taxes aren't due until Monday". Again, I'm floored. So they just assume folks can drop everything (like a job) at a random time, come in, sign docs then spend the rest of the day processing paperwork and waiting at the post office to get it in the mail in time? How is that a reasonable thought? I finally get a call late Saturday, April 16th that they're finished (and they're pretty proud of that fact). Unfortunately, I can't get in until Monday so I go in first thing Monday and now my bill is $60 more than quoted! The final straw was an email I received last week (May 19th) asking me to get some docs signed "so they can get my returns e-filed for me"... Really? A month later I've already sent my payments in and my taxes STILL aren't filed? I fully understand many people file extensions but I'm not a procrastinator so I never have. I always have my stuff completed in time for due dates. Due to the lack of communication, poor customer service and slow work & late filing, I will not be using them again in the future.

on a positive note they do send out birthday cards, though the first 2 years they came with a coupon for an ice cream cone
