When renting a car 1 month and several days, the last days go for the daily rental prince instead of monthly rate. This is very disadvantageous for the customer
Called me the day before I was supposed to pick up a 12 person rental that they don't have the van. I booked this van 2 months in advance. When asked if they would help me find a van, compensate for the additional costs it would be to get a van the day BEFORE I need it....all they had was a phone number to give me.
However, the AVIS pricing model is unclear and unfair.
After using Avis and other competitors within a month's gap - I can safely say Avis is a better option. Great value for money, very nice quality of vehicle and the helpfulness of the staffs are just a few to mention.Honestly - they does a crazy job for the price they ask. I will choose Avis over others in a heartbeat the next time I am in need for a rental.
