I was told to go housing in Hillsboro,OR and I did so, I filled out an application for me and my disabled mom, and I sent it back in the mail. I contacted the office and they said they did receive my application, so I will have to fill out another application and start at the bottom of the list!!!!

Nice building and quaint downtown area. Most people are here for unfortunate reasons or jury duty. Staff is friendly and professional.

Trying to get anything done through the small claims department here is a joke! Saying that Caroline (I think that's her name) has a giant chip on her shoulder would be a complete and total understatement. Her and her supervisor Stella seem to arbitrarily decide what goes through and what doesn't; finding issues with the most ridiculous of things and changing how to do things from day to day. I must stress that this is not said out of ignorance of our wonderful county’s procedures, things truly do change from day to day or possibly mood to mood. I don't often complain about places, especially state or government agencies, as they really aren't typically known for their customer service abilities (though according to other reviews and personal experience, many other employees at this county are quite the exception to this). However, these two truly take the cake. Please dear county of Washington, do all of us a favor that are trying to work within your system and please release these two. Or at least teach them that being helpful or at least decent pays far greater rewards than treating people poorly and making things unnecessarily difficult.
