Lots for kids to do. Playground equipment is newer and well kept. Picnic tables all around for a nice afternoon picnic in the park. My son had tons of fun and we probably spent close to three hours here just playing.

Lovely park with lots of mature trees and green grass as well as a nice play structures for kids. Located near downtown Hillsboro and right next to the old Hillsboro Library and the Hillsboro Aquatic Center. In the summer they have free concerts in the park. Great for walks, studying, enjoying nature, time alone, or time with friends.

Dog Friendly. A great place to go for a walk no matter what time if the year.

This is a small park that still holds a great deal of potential for a family looking for an enjoyable day at the park. Located next to the Shute Park Library and the Aquatic Center, the park often has activities and special events that are great fun to visit.

It's a historic park for people who came to Shute Park before the '70's. In the mid-'70's, the skating rink was torn down. It had been there for many decades. There was a roll in cafe' , a pipe organ on the upper balcony, which never played during the '60's and '70's.

There used to be many stone fireplaces in the park. Now there is just one of them. There used to be giant swing sets, teeter totters, and many more trees than there are now. The Shute Park library is there. There is an outdoor stage, too. There are covered picnic structures. There is a large children's play area, with plenty of benches for Parents who are not playing with the kids. There is a bicycle repair station. There are walking paths throughout the park.

It has a stage in front of a large grass lawn where in the summer they have concerts. There are walking areas surrounding the park that wind through the outer areas. You can even reserve covered picnic areas for a fee that make for fine gathering places regardless of the weather.
