I threw my back out earlier this week, and as it wasn't getting better on its own, tried to find a same-day massage, on a Sunday... I tried many places before contacting H&S, but when I called Hand & Stone, the receptionist was super helpful and got me in within an hour. The massage was exactly what I needed. Very professional and relaxing. As a bonus, they waived my initiation fee and gave me member rates for signing up to their monthly service.

The Hand and Stone in Hillsboro is great. The reception area is clean and bright, the staff knowledgable and friendly. I have had a facial there which was excellent. It was comparable to the quality I received at fancy spas. I have very sensitive skin and the technician knew how to handle it.The massages are also very good. The therapists were professional and were able to solve the trouble I was having with my occipital nerve. I docked a star as different therapists have different skill levels so you need to go a few times and see who is a good fit for you. While the experience is not on par with the luxury you'd find at an expensive spa you are getting a lot more than what you pay for. I signed up for a monthly membership.
