I like my veterinarian a lot. I have Dr. Marcus for my kitties and she's great with animals. You can really tell that she likes what she does. I felt it was a little pricey for just some vaccines and check-ups, but I don't really mind paying a little extra because the care they give is outstanding, and I'll only be going in when my pets are sick anyway. A lot of vets in the area have similar pricing anyway.

We've had only great experiences here with our dog. From little emergencies to general check-ups, everyone here is kind and patient. Dr Peterson & Dr Hunt are both wonderful, especially with my very sensitive and sassy dog.

With them things like that happen more often than they statistically should.

The latest one: they wanted my dog to take some sedation before coming in, but they failed to mention it has to be 90 minutes before, not right before the appointment. So they refused to see the dog. Had to reschedule for later same day.

Meh. Boarded my dog here for a week as they were my vet for a few months. Paid for a kennel cough shot and a few other must haves. Came home and my dog immediately started having symptoms of kennel cough. Called right away and they said sorry and to watch him and they'd check back in a few days. They never did. I called back after 2 weeks of watching his symptoms go up and down. They said sorry I was miss informed and should have came in right away. Like other people say, they just want your money. I wouldn't recommend them if you want someone to really care about your pup.

The latest latest one: called in early morning asking to talk to the doctor about potentially life threatening condition of my cat - should I bring him immediately or it's better just to watch him as stress might be the major factor. Staff told me she would talk to the doctor and they let me know promptly if I need to bring the cat. About three hours later I'm calling back and the same staff tells me she "left a note for the doctor who saw your cat last year, this doctor will be in in the afternoon". Well, maybe it's better to talk to the doctor that is currently in, not the doctor who saw my cat last year, especially if it's a potentially life threatening condition, no? "Oh yes, sorry"... Still waiting for them, meanwhile checking if there are other good clinics in the area.

Upd.: Doctor's are generally pretty good, but staff screws up way too often.

I have parrots and they need a special vet they cannot go to a cat or dog vet and Frontier has a wonderful Avian Vet she was so good with my bird he really did not give her much trouble her being a stranger he does not do well around strangers. The Staff was very helpful and the vet tech who held him while she checked him our was really good also. If you have birds and are looking for a good vet please give Frontier Vet a try. They were all wonderful. And the price was most reasonable for a special vet. Claudette Jaggers
